Q: ...Project what?
A: Project Kallisti. We’re an extended AU involving the world of Phoenix Wright immedietly after the end of game three (but just before the events mentioned in Apollo Justice.) We feature a bunch of people off the original cast, as well as the occasional scarce OC every once in a while. The twist is, they all have manic superpowers. It’s ridiculous.

Q: That IS ridiculous.
A: Yeah, but not in the way you’re thinking. This actually isn’t crack – although it has it’s humorous points, we’re really trying to make it very similar to various other superhero universes. That means that there’s going to (hopefully) be as many intense points as funny points. There’s actually a solid storyline (hence all the arcs) and plot that we’ve worked really hard on, and we’d really love to have everyone check it out and (try) to take it seriously.

Oh, you mean in reference to the STORY?
Why, that’s a government secret. Big cover-up, that one…

Q: …You’re secretly working for the government?!
A: Well, we have our inside men…but mostly, we’re just two Phoenix Wright fans who now have a really hot tan from our computer monitors. We’re MercuryKitten and Eximplode07, otherwise known as Mercs and Plodey. Plodey does a lot (all) of the actual writing, and Mercs does all (some) of the management/digital stuff – setting up HTML and the dev account, linking all the chapters, sitting around and being generally really sexy while Plode does all the hard stuff. We both have come up with the plot together, with occasional help from people featured in our special thanks section.

Q:  And you forgot to include me?! My idea was epic!
A: We are very accepting to epic ideas, provided we get to judge whether they are epic or not. We’re totally open to (actually, we encourage[force]) any guesses on what’s going to happen next, or ideas for future characters and such. However, we do also like our ideas. A lot. So if we don’t use yours, don’t be offended! We just already had plans.

Q: Speaking of plans, when are [insert favorite character here] and [insert their obviously perfect match] going to hook up?
A: Well, possibly soon. Possibly never. And possibly we’ll make you really honestly think they will and then totally destroy your hopes and dreams. PK isn’t primarily a romance story, although there is some romance in it. We try our best to cater to all sorts of shippers, but we do have our favorites. Some of the pairings are canon, some widely accepted, some vaguely accepted, and some are just…weird. So we hope you enjoy the fluff we have in store, but we hope you all give it a chance even if it isn’t your OTP. (They aren’t all our OTP’s either, trust me.)

Q: While we’re on that topic, why are [same character]’s powers lame/unfitting/silly?
A: We don’t think they’re silly at all, really. We like to call it creativity. Well, that’s what we call it. It’s known on several websites as mental disorders. But either way, we really like our ideas and chances are, we don’t think they’re lame. Everyone’s powers got chosen for a reason, and we’ll kindly explain them to you as you dangle over a pit of spikes.

Q: …Geesh, it was all hypothetical.
A: We know. And we’re really not THAT harsh – we’re open for critiques too, as long as you’re insightful and intelligent. We know we’re not perfect, and we’d like to hear if there’s something you don’t like. However, we’re very proud of our story, and we’d rather have a well-written review with cons than a flame that we didn’t use your favorite character or pairing, or idea.

Q: But you’ve written the greatest story on the interwebs! I want to be associated with your holy names somehow!
A: That’s understandable, and we have a simple solution. We LOVE fanart, fanimations, and fanfiction. Even if you don’t think you’re “that great” or “bad”, it really makes us happy to see we’ve inspired someone. So if our ideas have inspired you in any way, we’d love to see them.
